Roads Blog Post #9

So if you know me you would know I love children’s movies. I find enjoyment lighthearted cartoon movies. In particular lately I have enjoyed Moana. Moana inspired this post. Moana had destiny placed on her from inheritance to be Chief but her real destiny was to save tribe for generations. But her father feared her true destiny that was the unknown on sea. More than anything he thought her identity came in inheritance but the sea chose her. Are you chosen and letting the nay sayers or family hindering your destiny.

Can destiny be deferred? What interferes with the divine Destinations. Is it life, the devil or us. The answer is all three. However most of the time it’s you!! Have you ever been in a comfort zone that you felt someone kept you in or you kept yourself in. However destiny awaits and knocks on your door. Are you drawn to destiny but can’t leave your comfort zone. Are you afraid to go to destiny because is scary. But is it really fear or is a lack of faith. Is it fear of the lost of control. What’s driving you allowing you not to be directed to your destiny? What are the signs you see leading you down your roads? Is there road blocks or does your streets need to be fixed! Or is it road with no direction. Let me let you in on a secret plug in your GPS or your maps app. That’s our God Positioning System! Allow him to take over the driving to go to destiny. He knows the plan for our lives.

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”

Jeremiah 29:11-13 KJV

Are you afraid of the detours in your life because you fear the unknown. It’s time to let go of control and walk in faith. Guess what when you walk in faith all roads lead to Heaven.

Ever our Savior had roads to follow. Direction was orchestrated to the desired end of destiny. We serve a Savior who is a strategist but the strategy started before creation. Stop trying to figure his strategy out because our minds can’t comprehend his strategy. Sometimes he lets in our life’s road map. But if we knew our whole life in advance would we still serve him. If so you would never have to tap into that part of God. In these times we need Gods direction more than ever. Most of all we need to follow his direction so we can meet the expected end (Heaven). Heaven awaits us but most of all we get to meet the King of Kings. There direction won’t matter and there will not be any broken pieces to fix.

Personally I lack faith because I like to be in control. There is a few reasons why trauma and my gift of administration. When you experience trauma you tend to be systemic and like control so you don’t have to experience hurt. Can I let you in on a secret you still going to get hurt because that’s life. But the comforter is here to comfort our hearts. So let’s have faith to guide us on the roads of life.

I encourage you to follow his light right to your expected end. I encourage you to pray for reconstruction for your roads need to be built on the foundation of Christ. Then no matter the potholes and road blocks don’t stop and PRESS! The word says

“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”

Philippians 3:13-14 KJV
